I have really got to get better about keeping this blog updated. Little Miss Maela is a few days from being 21 months. She is such a big girl now. She can help count to 10 and knows a few of her ABC's. We were introduced to an awesome website by Bryan's cousin's wife, Melissa. It is www.starfall.com. I recommend it for all kids. It helps her with her alphabet and identifying objects. She begs for it! She loves playing with bubbles, drawing, painting, dancing and practicing yoga poses with mommy. She is really a Daddy's girl these days. I've told him to enjoy it while he can, b/c when she gets older and wants to go shopping or to get her nails done, he will be history! ha ha! Maela is loving daycare. She loves to go and never cries when we drop her off. The favorite part of my day is picking her up from school and getting to see her eyes light up and of course the big bear hug!
We recently got to go down to Beaufort, SC to see Bryan's mom's side of the family. All the cousins were in town. It was a lot of fun getting together and seeing how much all the kids have grown. We left Beaufort and drove over to Charleston to see Bryan's Dad. That was a lot of fun too. We got another good set of pictures of the 3 girls, Allyson, Rachael and Mae, splashing around in the tub. They really enjoyed playing with each other. Poor Patrick is really out numbered by these girls!
We are off to Lake Norman this weekend to celebrate the 4th of July. We have a few friends coming up to stay with us and I have a sitter lined up! YAY!! We will be staying at my mom's condo b/c our house is rented out. I am looking forward to some wake boarding and just some fun in the sun.
